Max Voichahoske Fullerton, NE Obituary, Death: Northeast Community College Student has died

The Fullerton community is mourning the loss of Max Charles Voichahoske, a young man whose life was filled with love, kindness, and dedication. Max’s passing has left a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone who knew him. He was a bright light in the lives of those around him, and his memory will be cherished forever.

Max was born on July 30, 2004, in Albion to Charles “Chuck” and Heidi (Wagner) Voichahoske. From a young age, he was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith, instilling in him a deep sense of spirituality and community. Growing up in Fullerton, Max attended Fullerton Public Schools, where he graduated in 2023. During his high school years, he was an active and well-respected student, participating in track, FFA, and F Club, and excelling on the football field. His dedication to his passions and his friendly, outgoing personality made him a beloved figure among classmates and teachers alike.

After high school, Max pursued higher education at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, earning an associate degree in agriculture in May 2025. His love for the land and farming fueled his ambition, and he returned home with pride to work alongside his family on their farm. Max’s passion for agriculture was evident in his dedication to building his cattle herd, and he found joy in the outdoors—whether it was deer hunting or spending time with friends. His loyal dog, Daisy, was a constant companion, sharing in many of his adventures and will greatly miss him.

Max was a devoted member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, where his faith was an important part of his life. His warm nature, strong work ethic, and love for family and community defined him. He was a caring son, brother, grandson, and cousin, whose presence brought happiness to those fortunate enough to know him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fullerton. The family will receive friends and family during a visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, at the church, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is assisting the family during this difficult time. Following the service, Max will be laid to rest at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery.

Max is survived by his parents, Chuck and Heidi Voichahoske; his sister, Macy Voichahoske; his grandparents, Charlie and Alyce Wagner; aunts and uncles, Kim Stroup, Mitch (Chasity) Wagner, Sandra Ihnen, Gary Voichahoske, and Bob (Tammy) Voichahoske; along with many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Eleanor Voichahoske, and his uncle, Al Ihnen.

While Max’s departure leaves a deep sadness, his legacy of kindness, faith, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him. His memory will always live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
